AVGN Interviews Marty McFly VA!

edited January 2011 in Back to the Future
I don't know if this has been posted yet but I felt obligated to share the news! So James Rolfe, the Nintendo Nerd, interviews AJ LoCascio about the now available BTTF game and it's a fun and casual conversation. AJ even shows off some of his VA talent. If you're a production fanatic like me, or just plain interested, it's worth listening to. (audio with pictures) No spoilers either! Here it is;Interview!

Thanks! I always love the AVGN's stuff. I always wear headphones since he gets pretty vulgar and my parents dont approve too greatly of some of the language he says :p

It sounded pretty awkward between those two.

Yeah, but it's understandable. James seems like a shy guy in my opinion. However, he is THE NINTENDO NERD and AJ is the voice of Marty McFly for the comeback of a legendary movie franchise. In light of that, the conversation just felt... natural. :)

Yeah about half way through you can tell neither one of them really knows what to talk about so AJ was all like... "wanna hear me do impressions?" and James was like "soooo NINTENDO"

Well, also remember that there was a lot that they COULDN'T talk about. AJ couldn't talk about the BTTF game in detail, which would have been the crux of their conversation if it had been allowed.

Good point. I'm sure that would've extended the length of the interview considerably!

I think the more I hear from AJ the less I like his performance if that makes sense... I will start hearing "him" in the performance more and more..

I think it's just going to take a little bit getting used to. On his part, he's getting used to performing his impression. Time will tell, I suppose.
