I think this thread is good for people to express their opinions in a friendly manner when they usually wouldn't.

Hmm Yeah I guess it is an American/Canadian thing... for the record I find them disgusting.

While the thread has some potential for discussion, it was likely moved to forum games because in two and a half pages, there's only been a handful of posts that consisted of anything more than one word responses to each given subject. In order for it to be discussion, people actually need to discuss. Nothing wrong with that if that's the point of the thread, but if you're looking for a constructive discussion thread, this hasn't been it so far.

Nay, this is a lousy world to be bringing children into.

and Nay. Pay your fair share, richy!

Also, how did this end up in forum games? I thought the people had spoken. We wanted it to stay in discussion, it seemed. After all, are we not discussing? The move is a bad call and you should probably feel bad.

Oh, poor naive Pants, thinking that counts for shit.

Also, I could've sworn the move happened before the discussion about it.

Moi? Naive? I thought you believed true happiness existed in the world. Glass houses, man. Glass houses.

In any case, paying attention is not my forte, so it may well have.

    Never tried it.

Yeah, it depends on who it is. If someone's capable of capturing/emulating the humour, the style and the visual side of it, then sure, why not?

No, it's a scam, and that's all it is. It might be a very elaborate, enticing scam, with many appealing elements. But, at its core, it's a money/time/life-sucking creation of pure evil.

Naybe (a word meaning maybe, but leaning towards the 'no'/'nay' option more-so).

Nay. Hell nay. Wouldn't it only cause more wealth disparity?

NAY. But then again, heard the name for the first time just now.

    31. Mars settlement

    32. Organized religion
NAY. Religion for the individual: YAY.

33.'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'

    35. Portable Computing
    YAY, why not?

    36. DRM-Free games
YAY. But that's a little like the communism issue: Good in theory...

I love that comic. I'm not sure if the message is that clear, though. With the words of a German songwriter: "We could well heal hunger, but we'd have to share a little better". But famine doesn't seem to be the point the comic wants to make - it's resources in general. But a martian exodus is a fantasy that doesn't even try to approach the problem.

My point is that we, as humans, don't have it in us to share. That's why Communism fails when you try to apply it in real life. Therefore, my favored solution is to get people to stop having so many children that they can't take care of (especially in dangerously impoverished regions) and begin mining other planets for their resources.

Yay. My boyfriend all through high school and university did a lot of amateur musicals. Not only did I have to see the performances, I had to listen to him singing all the songs in the car as well. Good thing I already didn't mind musicals, or I would've had to learn to like them pretty fast. :p

Also, the Priscilla: Queen of the Desert musical is brilliant. Saw it in London a few months ago and couldn't stop laughing.
