news agent puzzle wont work

on fright of the bees, im stuck trying to get the flowers from the news agents.
I can talk to the agent but the puzzle won't function to make the old man mad. I can get her to talk but I can't click on woods to make insults help!

    Maybe there's something else you can click on?
