I usally don't go to fan sites for info on new games, the only reason why I look at them is because they get videos, demos, screens, etc. of the game faster for some reason.
You give us the date! NOW! You don't want me to spit, do you?
nicely said haha, im getting quite bored of waiting now, it seems like they are just trying to pro-long it as much as possible. Surely they all know the release date, just are very un-willing to share it with there paying customers, they said april but may is getting a little too close for comfort.
Release Date: Anytime in the next 13 days. (Not Exactly Professional)
Sorry but name a game developer (excluding Telltale Games) that hasnt annouced the release date upto 2 months prior to the games release, this is getting out of hand now, no wonder people are going on about this all the time, if there worried about the server failing then buy more servers, Google has over 600,000 of them and it hasnt stopped them.
Prolonging the release as much as possible is going to raise the standards the players will have. So if this game doesnt live up to perhaps one of the biggest film licenses in history, it could crush Telltale Games and its fan base in seconds.
It takes a life time to build a reputation and seconds to destroy.
There hasn't been a release date announced because the game isn't FINISHED YET! Unlike other companies that love announcing release dates and then delaying them, TellTale announces a month. Why is that hard to understand?

if your statement is correct, why have they annouced its being released this month if its not even finished yet, this month is dangerously close to ending and we still have had nothing, even for the people that have preordered like myself, im have not been going on and on like some individuals, but i feel now is my time to speak for so many people that feel the same way.
Look at Dead rising 2 Capcom set a date for late 2009 then delayed it, then set a date for spring 2010 then delayed again until Augest or September 2010.

Or better yet, look at Duke Nukem takes Forever. :P
well here's hoping we won't experience a Duke Nukem delay
Highly doubtful. That was just an example.
Another example. The latest in the Zelda series of games, Skyward Sword, has been said by Shigeru Miyamoto to be in the final completion stages, and there has yet to be a release date set. Most companies are starting to wait until the games are complete or closer to complete before setting that all-important release date. Reasons? Business, most likely. Make sure the game's ready, then unleash it at a prime time, like during the summer or Christmas.
Well it should be soon because I doubt that they would release "Back to the Future episode 4" and "JP" in the same week.
Think of it this way: Two teams are working on BTTF ep 4 and JP ep 1. What keeps them from releasing in the same week? What would be the difference, workday-wise, if BTTF4 released Tuesday and JP1 Friday or BTTF4 on Friday and JP1 on Wednesday the following week? None. So everything's possible. Hold on to your hats.
Man... people are going crazy over this. I'm hyped about this game just as much as the next Jurassic Park fan. But I'm also happy that it's coming out at the end of the month. That just means Telltale is polishing the game. I'm all for waiting if it means a better game in the end.

Well since the first episode of JP is a new product, whereas with BTTF its just the next chapter in the season, my theory is that the CEO of telltale will most likely try to push the release of JP. Its the same story with every company. New products are always released or unveiled first and tierciary waves of previous products are released later.

I guess on Monday next week... there is the release of bttf also, don´t think they want to throw us too much bones at the same time. They like to keep us with hunger on the gamers cage.
If they release both at the same day, or even just the same week, then they have a lot of bandwidth issues. I have no idea when they are going to be release either, but I'm guessing Jurassic Park comes first, this week, then BTTF next week. It's a bit early for a BTTF release, and not early enough for the JP game.
Just throwing some more stuff in to make you guys extra-nervous: Did anyone notice that pre-orderers do not yet get individual episodes/ episode names displayed in their order history? That was the case even weeks in advance with other games!
sorry but, when they release the title, where can i download it?
sorry for the poor english but i'm italian
You have to buy it first before you can download it Click on the store tab>product, then after purchasing it you can find the download link (once the game is released) in your account settings. Click on the arcade stick icon on the top tab (next to the shopping cart icon)
Sure i'd like to play it as soon as possible.
But i trust Telltale Games more than any other game developer, thanks to the way they've always threated us, caring about us customers.
AND i am an huge Jurassic Park fan, i own props of the first movie, signatures of most of the cast and most notable members of the crew.
So, if anything, i want this to be as faultless as possible.
not to seem tedious or anything but can you guys give us the date your going to give us the release date lol I mean like I'd really like an update or something

Kind'a late for my suggestion but may be for Jurassic park 2 if there is one!
I would like to see "Surperb visuals" and "GamePlay"! Want the game to utilize all 4 to 6 cores on a processor to benefit from Multi-Core systems! Do not like Characters to look Plastic looking in GamePlay as well as for the "Dinosaurs". HD quality for the game. The "Environment" should look surperb looking! "Game Animation" should look smooth. I would like to see a "Cinematic Effect" in gameplay. Witch ever DirectX title comes out use it to it's full capacity! Enable the XBOX 360 controller, I would like to see players configure there own setting to the gamepad!
I want this game to have good rating with IGN, I think this game has potential!

Not unheard of. Square Enix and Capcom have been known to do it. Konami made a countdown for an announcement one time, at which they announced they were going to have an announcement at E3 (which turned out to be Metal Gear: Rising). So perhaps, they can tell us when they'll tell us when the game will be out?

this is getting ridiculous in my opinion.

It's always a fun game guessing what the release day is.
You mean, hold on to our butts?

Preorder here, then when the first episode is released you can download it from your Games page.
