Spring Sale?

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, so I apologize in advance. I wanted to buy the full ToMI season (well, the upgrade to full season) but apparently the 50% off is not activated yet? The prices are the same as always.

    Aaaaah. I thought I'd be able to snatch a few posters during the sale. Ah well. I might nab Sam and Max Season 2 or finally get Monkey Island.

    Um... so that does mean I cannot purchase either Sam & Max: Season 3 or Tales of Monkey Island: Season 1 DVDs at discount? Because discounts aren't applying to those either…

    The sale specifics are a bit confusing, especially as your front page ad only says "50% off almost everything!* Excludes Back to the Future, Jurassic Park and Hector games."

    Nothing is listed stating the sale applying only to games bundles… and not to the DVDs bundles or other product lines.

    You should match your advertising to your mail-outs too.

    50% off the full seasons of our games (excluding Back to the Future)was in the mail-out.

    50% off almost everything!* Excludes Back to the Future, Jurassic Park and Hector games.     on he store front.

    I am still confused tho. I tried to see if buying the entire season for ToMI had the discount in, but it didn't.

    In fact I looked around and I couldn't see any discount applied to any merchandise anywhere.

    What ARE the products discounted? Can they be marked with a special label or something? Do I need to clear my cache? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

    Either it wasn't active at the time of your post and now it is, or there's something wrong on your side. I just checked and it gave me the discount with no problem *shrugs*

    The full seasons (downloadable versions) appear to be discounted. The discount is applied in your shopping cart.

    e.g. I selected Sam & Max The Devil's Playhouse ($34.99) and in the shopping cart it was listed as $17.50.

    NB. When I picked TDP+DVD (price $0), it showed up in my cart as two items: The DVD for $0 and the main deal for $19.99 reduced from $34.99 Whoops.

    But considering I already own all currently released seasons, and the vast majority of one-offs, there's nothing for me to buy in this sale :)

    Might also want to add that the Season + DVDs are not included too. (if it was I missed it)

    Ah! It works now! Whatever the reason, it didn't work before for me. I ran through all the steps, even going to the paypal website, but bailed before approving the payment.

    Thanks! I got my ToMI full season now, it was cheaper than the upgrade ^.^

    They don't appear to be included indeed, but nothing's preventing you from getting the downloadable version for half price in one order and then place another order for the free disc (+ shipping).

    Why don't digital bundles count as well? I wanted to get the bone download bundle for $7.50 but its still $15.00. If this isn't part of the sale I understand and will get them for $9.00 separately instead.

    If I were to buy a season bundle during the sale, could I still get the collector's DVD by just paying the shipping costs? Because as others have pointed out, the series + DVD rings up as full price.

    Yes. Buy the digital season and check out with it at the discount, then make a second one with the disc- you'll only pay shipping.

    The Interloper notification said the sale is "50% off the full seasons of our games (excluding Back to the Future)". So pretty sure merch is excluded.

    Anyone else having problems with the Spring Sale? I want to buy something but everything is coming up at full price. Even at the point of no return. I noticed this was my problem during the Christmas sale as well (I have checked multiple days for Easter and back during Christmas). I even used multiple computers but got the same result. I'm certain my cookies are on too if that helps any. Anyway to fix this? Oh well if not.

    Oh, digital versions only? :-) That explains it. Was trying to buy the full ToMI with the disc. I'll buy the digital only and then get the disc later then. :-)

    I"m having trouble too, I'm trying to get the Bone digital bundle but the discount will not apply even when i get to the end of checkout right before i make payment on the final page. Is it not on sale?

    Yeah, it seems the individual Bone episodes are working with the sale, but not the bundle. Is that intentional?

    of course its only the individual ones. everything else I want in the store doesn't apply to the sale, why would that? sigh.......
