Sam & Max: Complete - Pre-order?

Hi.
This new 75% off sale is amazing.

I'm going to buy the following:
Seasons 1, 2, 3 of Sam & Max
Surfin' The Highway (Paperback)

I was going to get the seasons separately, but then I saw the "Complete Collection" for only $50 ($12)!

However, when I add it to my cart, there's red text telling me it's a pre-order. But at the bottom it says back order.

So is it not out yet? Or just out of stock? Is this a pre-order or a back order?

(PS: I notice the first season also says pre-order/back order)

    It's a back order - because the complete collection includes the DVDs. You can order it now, download the episodes, and the DVDs will be posted (with your book) when available.
