Right, i've been searching for an official ride tshirt for a while now and as Universal haven't been too helpful in sourcing me one from Japans gift store, and with my thread here failing in finding someone who is willing to scan theirs so that I can make a replica, I decided to design my own.

I'm no Photoshop expert, but I was a graphics designer a few years back so downloaded GIMP (open source Photoshop) and got to it! I found a large scale ride logo and delorean and spent numerous hours doing some perfect paths for the cutouts. I have a few different designs and thought i'd put it up for vote.

Thoughts?

    First one has my vote; it could pass off as official merchandise.

    I liked #1 and #3. Maybe you could play around with the lettering? You could have the DeLorean and "The Ride" on the front with "Back to the Future" on the back.... or vice versa. I dunno.

    Not a bad idea actually. I'll have a play around with this design in a few days, need a break from it now ;)

    Well, here's the finished product guys. I have applied a few different washes to the design. Firstly I applied a cracked wash that looks very much like lightning to go with the theme of Part II. I have also used an abrasive wash to give it that worn/rubbed look.

    This design is strictly for myself for now as nobody at Universal was willing to get me a shirt from the gift store in Japan after a lot of email tennis/pleading. It's been a good project that's for sure!
