Back to the Future as a Gift

Hello Telltale Games and Community,

first of all, sorry for my following english =)

I have a few questions about Back to the Future, and i need some answers about it, hope so :>

I live in Germany, so is this Version (at your Shop) a Digital Version only?
You accept Paypal (yeah ^^) and there are no shipping costs, so i presume, it's the digital version only :). If not, what are the shipping costs? Saw different prices, from 12$ to 40$ O_o

This Game should be bought as a gift, to our friend, and one question about it:
How can i present it to him? Does he need an account here on telltalegames.com? Before or after the purchase? (like steam, where i have to choose the person i want to present, and he needs an account).

Is this the english version only, because on your website, there are other languages aswell?

I hope you can help me, so a new customer will be born :>

Kind regards

Daniel, Germany

    Hi Daniel.

Here's what you need to know.

Telltale's games usually start as digital and a DVD collecting the episodes is released at the end of a season (not every game gets a DVD, but thus far, every season has - and Back to the Future will).
That DVD is free (plus shipping) for whoever purchases the digital (PC or Mac) version (you would just have to place a new order once the DVD is available).
You might also like to know that if you purchase the DVD later, you will also get access to the digital version.

To know how much shipping would be, just put a similar item in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
Once you've entered the shipping address, you will get the most current shipping costs.
At this time, one DVD to Germany would cost you:
$8.21 for USPS First Class International Parcels or $16.75 for USPS Priority Mail International.

To buy a game as a gift from the Telltale Store, there should be a box marked something like "I'm buying this as a gift" during checkout (however, I'm not seeing it at this time, so I'm wondering if the possibility to gift items has been disabled during the sale).
If you buy a digital game as a gift, the recipient would have to create a Telltale account to be able to receive it, but does not need to have one before your purchase.

Finally, the version of BTTF from the Telltale Store has English and German languages and subtitles, as well as French subtitles.

    That's it. Hope this helps!

    Hey there Macfly77,

    thank you for your response!!

Helped me alot. But you said, "If you buy a digital game as a gift, the recipient would have to create a Telltale account to be able to receive it, but does not need to have one before your purchase." so ... it seems the person or i get an gift coupon (code) which he can redeem?

But i think, the 23.6 will be a wonderful day for him ;D

    BIG Thanks

    Kind regards

    Daniel

If I remember correctly (I bought a few digital Telltale games for my brother), the recipient does indeed receive a gift code to redeem (right here).
