    Hmm, I think the voice acting in Hit the Road has aged somewhat badly. The voice direction in those days was really bad (Day of the Tentacle had the same problems, with things like Laverne and her magic pitch changing voice) with weird incorrect context such as "I'm still trying to figure out where I AM, Sam!". From what we heard of Sam and Max in Freelance Police, they were directed much better.

    Of course, the voice actors themselves were great, they brought the characters to life in their own unique way.
