Episode 4-Stuck "convince edna that emmett is a slob"

Hi fellow BTTF fans,

I'm using episode 4 on ipad and cannot figure out how to get past the goal of convinving edna that emmitt is a slob...i use the oil can to spill on him but he simply cleans it. i stole the portable cleaner and put into the delorean but when he returned from the time travel, it did not seem to spill on him...any help would be appreciated...i already have used the hints...the bacteria, the generator, projector, stew, algae cakes, but nothing seems to change. i am now in the emmitt brown lab and have clicked on everything, and also everybbody back in the high school...anybody know what to do next to get past this goal ?

    Did Emmitt mention anything wrong with the cleaning solution. Possibly the fact that it's cleaning formula is only stable for so long. and if so,do you see anything at the high school that can age it?

    Put the spray in the delorean at the high school and when the light turns green, tell doc and he'll time jump. Do this twice and then give the spray back to young Emmett at the lab. Then watch the fireworks :D
