Are fans of Dank also fans of B.C.?

I remember reading my dad's two B.C. compendium books over & over when I was a kid. Some great caveman related hijinx (this was from before the overtly Christian messages started creeping in to the strips - or maybe I just didn't "get" them back then).

Dank reminds me a lot of Thor (?) the Caveman inventor from B.C.

Anyway, the strip's creator Johnny Hart died yesterday at his drawing board aged 76.

    Oh, that's sad news. B.C. is a great comic, as is Wizard of Id. Lots of funny, slightly silly stuff going on there.

    Yeah, sad... Really liked his work (well, at least the two mentioned above).

    That is sad to hear... I hope that is the way he wanted to go, though... at his drawing board.
