Cannot save game in ep 1

I always have to start over! What am I doing wrong?

    Are you using the game menus to exit the game or are you just killing the task? If I remember correctly, the game saves at certain points in the game and when you quit.

    where can I find the save file of the game?

    My saves are in C:\Users\[my username]\Documents\Telltale Games\Hector - Episode 3 (that one is for episode 3, obviously). Yours may be in a different location... if you can't find them, search for prefs.prop on your install drive. The save file will be in the same place.
