Episode 1 available for free?

The above website, dated April 2, says that the Back to the Future Ep1 game was available for free. Despite the date, there are no user or staff comments on that site suggesting that this was a joke. Was it available for free at one point and is it still?

It was originally supposed to be free only for people who purchased the trilogy on blu-ray, but everyone could get it for free anyway (people just had to wait until episode 2 was released in February before they could activate their free episode 1).
It was officially made free for everyone on April 1 (and no, it wasn't an April Fools' Day joke).
You can redeem the free episode here (there might be a different way, as the blog post doesn't mention that page and even if I'm logged out of my Telltale account- apparently necessary if you already own the full season -, I can't seem to find it differently by navigating the Telltale Back to the Future website).
