Is Gerry's Other Daughter Sarah Harding?
Ok, in the game Gerry mentions he has an older daughter named Sarah and since his last name is Harding so is hers. So is she THE Sarah Harding from The Lost World? I mean, i would fit. Gerry mentions how shes a couples years older than Jess, probably in her 20's and in TLW she's in her 20's. I'm pretty sure that she is the Sarah Harding from TLW i just wanted a Telltale Confirmation for good measure

In other words, TTG suggests this correlation in exactly the same way the Lost World movie did.
I have to point out that this is not discussed in the film, but in the novel. In the films, the connection is not made: in the films' universe, there's no way of knowing if Gerry Harding and Sarah Harding are truly related, unless specified in a future installment. (Which seems doubtful.)
It's still open for interpretation though, as the name Sarah when Jess speaks it in the game is spelled without an H (captions turned on, for the win.) And the character of Harding is different in the book, the movie, and the game: even if Sarah Harding is his daughter in the book and/or game, the movies don't necessarily follow suit.
Actually, later on Sarah is mentioned again by Gerry, and this time there is an H at the end.
Mispelling error in subtitles, simple mistake. If your lucky, you'll get to see deleted dialogue in games this way.
"It's time to bake that cake we made last night." - Not from this game but one that I love. Only seen in subtitles.
Anyways I tough it was a mehh... coincidence.
Why would Sarah Harding marry Grant? She didn't know him.
What's this, I don't even...
I dug up some more information for you guys (sorry I'm late with this: haven't been on this board in ages!) See the post I created for www.jplegacy.org below:
Gerry Harding is indeed Sarah Harding's father: in the novel The Lost World: Jurassic Park, she and Malcolm discuss him very briefly. Here's the text from the novel:
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (page 670, Knopf, Borzoi Books - Barnes and Noble edition Jurassic Park/ The Lost World)
And the text from Jurassic Park, on Gerry Harding's career:
Jurassic Park (page 246, Knopf, Borzoi Books - Barnes and Noble edition Jurassic Park/ The Lost World)
Michael Crichton confirmed Gerry and Sarah Harding being father and daughter in an interview as well (though I've never read the specific interview myself), but the above texts carry enough evidence in themselves. The game's developers put it in their game to link the stories between the Jurassic Park films, and as a nice little easter egg for the fans.
plus, as far as i know, Harding from novels worked at San Diego Zoo, while at the end of the game he says he should go back to work for Dallas Zoo.
so, yeah, it is an easter egg alright, but kinda poorly thought out.
TellTale has mentioned on more than one occasion that they made Gerry younger than he was in the film. He also mentions taking Jess back to the center at the end of the tutorial. I can't recall his exact dialog, but it is something to do with the sick Triceratops.
It has been stated already very often but the main reason for the different appearance of Dr. Gerry Harding was a simple copyright issue:
The official JP-license from Universal - which TTG bought for their game - didn't include the original appearance of the actors and brands that were used in the film. That's also the reason why there aren't any Ford Explorers and Jeep Wranglers in this game (And why Nedry's face wasn't shown).
Plus actually TTG thought that the optics of Gerry L. Molen (which played Gerry Harding in the movie) wasn't attractive enough for gamers to play as him.
PS: But TTG bought the license from Barbasol to use the original can in the game.
