iPad vs Mac version

I had downloaded the iPad version (basically since the first episode was free) but am considering getting it instead to play on my iMac.
Is there a demo to see how it runs? Any advantage/disadvantage of the iPad vs iMac versions?

    This game was made for iPad and will probably work better on it.
