Episode 1 tape recorder issues!

I can't figure out how to make the recorder record young Doc! How do I make it work?

    You have to record him JUST BEFORE he leaves the center square and is on his way to the lawyer's office (this is when he's near the gate).

    Hopefully that'll help you out with Emmett. :)
