Episode 2: Chapter 7 - Rescue [I Keep Getting Shot]

I am playing on the Xbox 360. I am on the final chapter and at the point where Brenda has Kenny's Wife hostage. No matter what I do I keep getting shot.

How do I get past this. Is there some glitch where a decision I made at somepoint before is stopping me getting past her. I looked up other threads and they are saying I should just go back to the fight with Danny and then pick something else to say.

I tried that but it didn't work. I picked telling her I dealt with Danny and I also tried saying nothing but she still shoots me. Please help someone.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I walk a bit forward and can talk to her, but after that, I can only walk forward again... and get shot. What do I need to do??

[EDIT] Okay, I found out what to do: as soon as you're told to stop, immediately let go of your left stick, as the slightest movement will get you shot. Then, a new dialogue option will appear.

When she points the gun at you - don't move. At all. Forward or backward. I got shot about ten times in a row by moving backward (subconsciously). The game shows you continuing forward if you press *anything. Just pull hands away and wait for dialogue. Worked for me, after forum trolling and much frustration!
