My game will not save xbox 360

I have played Episode one almost a hundred times and it won't save...I've deleted the game and reinstalled it played it through and still it doesn't save my game...I waited till Episode 2 came out...Deleted the whole game and again reinstalled it(Thinking with the release of Episode 2 that it will trigger an update or give me the latest version of both Episodes) I was wrong...Everytime I die the game starts all over...I really did enjoy playing this game, but I've exhausted all of my options here...How do I fix this? I have and xbox 360.

    Have u gone into yr Memory Settings & checked u haven't got a 'corrupt save file' that needs deleting?. Just an idea....
