Nothing personal, its just that you are incredibly infuriating!
Most people invoke that at some point. Ryan does seem to have a habit of not knowing when to stop, but it's only a mildly annoying habit, and he doesn't post all that often, so it's certainly tolerable.

I don't know. I think its a combination of incredibly short, mundane and constant "in a row" styled posts, and his terrible spelling and grammar.
Infact, this is exactly how I react whenever I read a post of his:
It really is nothing personal, you are not such a bad kid, its just that sometimes one looks for some insightful conversation, and then you get Ryan's posts....
Also on topic: I loathe Secret Agent Clank. I don't have a PSP, so I had to import the Australian PS2 version and my GOD was it not worth the expense. I wasn't particularly thrilled with Size Matters, but to take the series in a completely different direction - and one that sucked so much - was a huge mistake. Slow-as-hell stealth sections? Quick-time events? Dull as hell racing? Frustrating combat 'arenas'? Tiresome Quark stage shows? FAIL.
I don't got the ps2 version of Secret Agent Clank or Size Matters. I got them for PSP and i hear from reviews that the PSP versions are better than the ps2 versions. I like Secret Agent Clank but that could have something to do with Clank is my favorite Ratchet & Clank character.

The thing about them is that, for PSP games, they're not terrible. But when you compare them to the PS2 games (which is much easier to do when you're playing the PS2 ports), they really do fail to stand up. At all.
The levels are tiny, the camera is terrible (there wasn't one for the PSP versions - it was added to the PS2 ones), the weapons (for all of Size Matters and the Ratchet-in-Prison sections of Secret Agent Clank) are boring, the music is meh, the plots make absolutely no sense, the gameplay is substandard and the whole experience feels more like a pair of misguided fan games rather than professionally made titles.
Also, Secret Agent Clank's Guitar Hero-styled quick-time event sections are really quite badly coded and as a result it's nigh impossible to get the skill point for completing them flawlessly. HATE.
Ok i agree with you there but i don't think they should be compared with the PS2 games or for that matter the PS3 games. Because of 2 reasons. 1.They are PSP games so they won't be as good as the PS2 or PS3 games. 2. Because when they are compared to the PS2 and PS3 games of course they won't be as good as them.
I know that, but you can't just ignore what came before. They are, effectively, a continuation of the franchise (SAC excepted - I'm convinced that's out-of-canon) and it's really hard not to feel let down by them.
(I certainly wouldn't compare them to the PS3 games. That'd be insanely stupid.)
Even on their own they just feel... meh. Like they're only made out of contractual obligation rather than because the people involved really wanted to make them.

Ah, you say that, but quite a few PS2 ports, such as "The Warriors" were actually very good ports of PS2, almost 1:1 in many cases.
Probably the hasty development, and the fact that they were developed by side-teams like High Impact Games, make them inferior titles compared to the ones developed by the main team.
EDIT: As for the capabilities of the PSP, its actually a pretty powerful console for its time.
Look at a later PSP game like Birth By Sleep, compared to say GTA Vice City Stories, and you can see a major graphical differences. Truly the PSP's full potential wasn't unleashed until the last 3 or so years.
Not only have I earned the
'Twisty McMarx' and
'Speedy' trophies, but I also got the
'Girl Trouble' one on my very first try with the default amount of health.
Top that.
Hello Darth i'm here to top that
I got all three of them plus i beaten all 3 R&C games .
I DID get the trophy. It was still bullshit. With the sequel at least you can get Bolt Multipliers, plus they seem to have devalued bolts meaning you pick up more by default. The first one? Ugh.
Let me put it another way. In the first game, the RYNO costs 150,000, and it takes freaking forever to get that (the total cost of everything in the game, ammo not included, is around 500,000). In the second game, the RYNO II costs [DrEvilVoice] 1 MILLION BOLTS [/DrEvilVoice], and it's not even the most expensive weapon in the game, meaning that the 2 Mil will come through the course of obtaining everything.
You'll have to grind for bolts, sure, but you won't have to do it solely for a trophy. That's my issue.
Yeah but 1 trophy i throught was complete bullshit was Speedy. At least there are tricks & glitches you can use for bolts but it's different with Speedy.
It only took me twenty minutes or so to get that one - and then I did it again completely by accident the first time I raced in Challenge Mode! It's just a matter of finding the right path, hitting boosts and jumping over corners.
I'm just happy it's done. I am going back through R&C 1 to get skill points i missed (which was almost all of them ) To get Gold Bolts i missed and to get all the gold stuff and i need to get 1 million bolts. I already got everything else.
Ah yes Ratchet & Clank, the series that got me properly into the Playstation 2! I seem to be 1 achievement away from Platinum on the second game (I can't seem to get Old Skool).
I had that problem as well. The solution I found was to go to a different planet, save the game, then quit. Return to the game, go back to Dobbo (the one where the achievement is) and try it again. First time I did that, it popped once I'd killed the last enemy.

(Hi Ryan )

(There weren't that many Dark Daxter levels, were there? Agreed about the flying stuff though)
3.Ratchet & Clank 2
2.Ratchet & Clank A Crack In Time
1.Ratchet & Clank 3
Now it's way past your bedtime. Go the f**k to sleep.
No it's not and here is my smart comeback. You go to bed!
Hello Darth i'm here to top that

What?
That is all.
THE TROPHY FOR GETTING 2 MILLION BOLTS IN R&C 2
Sorry Darth you have to do better than that .
Edit: Sorry i throught you said you got that trophy but yeah it is a pain.

Don't say I can't be nice!
...wait, when did I say you were my friend?
Edit:Also to answer your question Darth.. You became a friend when i sent you a request and you accepted
Hope that helps!
