TWD: Doesn't run smooth

I have a i3 530 (2,93Ghz)
ati 6870

and at some points the game freezes and then it continues, it stutters (mostly when it are intense moments)

I find this very annoying, are there any other people who have this problem and is there a fix ?

    I had the same problem after I had to start running the game in Admin mode (Win7, nvidia card). I set the shadow quality to Low and that pretty much fixed it without too much loss on the graphics.
