Episode 1--Can't choose awl to attack zombie by RV

I have been stuck at the point where Glenn and I are ducked behind the front of the camper (RV), and I keep teling Glenn that I can use the pick to kill the walkers when they come around the RV...
When I peek around the corner of the RV, and put my pointer on the zombie that is staring upwards, I cannot select any actions; I can only look at him.:confused:
What could cause this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Please help! I'm playing the PC game if that makes any difference.

    you gotta look around at the walker and put the curser on him and scroll down to the pick option and when he gets close than use your curser again on him and kill him
