Problem with CSI 3 Dimensions of Murder case 3!!

I have collected all the evidence and the only thing left is the tool mark left on the desk drawer. I have nothing to compare it to. I cant move forward with the case until i figure this out. All the other evidence has been processed and i have talked to everyone and there is nothing else that i see that needs to be done! other than this one piece of evidence!

Did you try to compare the fluid from the couch to Michael's DNA? ( You may need to hit "confirm match" despite whether they match or not, but I think all you need to do is put it on there. )

Are there any hints available from your partner?

Is the Apartment the only place you have available to you?

It also might be worth double checking that you have asked everything to everyone, collected all the evidence and done all you can with the lab. (You should get a white/cream icon appear then you have fnished with it, the grey one means something still needs to be done.)

Also sometimes you do need to click confirm when its not a match as Greg says, and you also have to come at it from all angles, ie you got someone by his fingerprints but you have to get him by his blood also. So try everything....

All the evidence is done except this tool mark on the drawer. The tags beside all the evidence are lit up except this one. I must have to comare it to something because the only place to look at it is on the microscope. The only thing i have in my evidence that could possibly make a mark would have been the letter opener or the key but those items dont match. Im so frustrated. I went back to talk to everyone and no one will talk and sarah has no more hints for me. I also went back one by one and made sure from my hints that i had all the evidence that i was supossed to have. Thanks for your help. I hope we can figure this out!

i think you can comnpare it with a screwdriver you find in a folder in micheals apartment try that sumthing like that i not a 100% sure i hope it helps thought

i wrote a walkthrough on CSI3 WAY back in the day.... anyway, here it is

case start - intro grissoms office, click crime scene button

victims apartment - intro with sara
pan all the way left, click doorway
click foot print, use camera,
click key, use gloves, use ad. disc on tip of key
click blood bool (center of room) use camera
click table (near camera) collect note pad with gloves, use print powder to reveal latent message
click blood to get closer (feft side of pool), use swab
click necklace, near saras feet, use gloves
click refigerator ( 2X) examine freezer
click spatter on wall (near saras head) use camera, then use swab
click desk (between sara and guy) click open drawer, use mikrosil, click right piortion of desk, use magnetic powder, use tape lift
click blood pool (one on right) use camera, use swab
pan right, click sofa, click pillow with mark on it, use UV light, then use swab
click table/window area (far right) click shoe print, use camera
click black shread on window frame, collect with gloves
talk to boy friend ( micheal )
ask all questions, get shoe (check bottom, spray lcv, use swab) get dna, open locations (lucys office , micheals apartment)

go to lucys office
ask all questions - dna given and bisc search allowed
check trash can, collect paper with gloves
click appointment book on desk
collect letter opener, (no not rotate in view) use lumonal, then use swab
talk to lucy again - ask remaining questions - get speeding ticket

go to micheals apartment
ask all questions - permission to collect carties glasses permitted
rotate 90 collect hait with gloves rotare another 90 and use swab on substance on back of glasses

go to morgue
ask all questions

go to lab
compare blood from floor to lucy (dna)
compare all blood from scene to the hair from glasses (dna)
compare the blood from letter opener to lucy (dna) - CASE UPDATE grissom
compare dna from couch to micheal (dna)
run substance on key (chem)
run substance that was on back of glasses (chem)
run the black fragment from window (chem)
search prints from desk compare with result "D" (trace/prints)
compare shoeprint photo(near door) to micheals shoe (trace/treads)
examine necklace (microscope)
assemble torn parer from trash (assembly table)

collect the cup - use gloves (no not move cup in view) spray base of cup eith ninhydrin, then use swab on opening in lid (may have to move it a little)

run print from folder, compare to result (either D or C) (trace/prints)
compare screwdriver to impression mrom desk (microscope)
compare knife blood to hair from dlasses (dna)

ask for warrent for lucys office

go to lucys office
collect key and book from desk, use gloves on both
collect box of needles from open file cabnet in rear of room spray lcv on needles in top of box, then use swab, and collect fingerprint from side of box, use ninhydrin

go to lab
compare box fingerprint to cofeecup print (trace/prints)
compare key from office to key from scene (microscope)
compare hair from glasses dna to dna from needle (dna) - WARRANT UNLOCKED - CASE UPDATE catherene
