Macbook Pro 2012 - Corrupt Subtitles

Hi everyone,

First of all, my config :

Macbook Pro 2012 No Retina (Nvidia gt650 + Intel HD4000)
8 Go ram
256 GB Crucial SSD
The Walking Dead - season pass (steam)

I have a serious problem when i turn on subtitles:

A white strife appeared (with some thin purple lines, like video corruption) instead of subtitles.

I can play without subtitles, but the english is not my first language, and in general the subtitles help me when I don't clearly understand speaking dialog.

Thanks in advance for your Help.

I'm having a similar problem and have Macbook as well (though to my knowledge, it's not a 2012 model). Here's what it looks like when I first start the game:

Added: Oh, and I'm on the Steam version

We have exactly the same problem.

I've tested different config with gfxCardStatus, when I force the Intel HD no corruption appears, but with the Nvidia GT650 they come back.

I think is more a driver problem than game problem.

I've been able to work around it by toggling fullscreen.

Not playing full-screen works; it's not my favourite solution, but the text is displaying perfectly.

Even when at full-screen with this monitor's native resolution the text didn't display right, which I found odd.

Please try turning off anti-alaising in your video card settings (if applicable) and in the game's settings menu.

    Hi MattP

I have the exact same issue as everyone else. We dont have a control panel option for Antialiasing on Macs. Its in the game, but changing that doesnt change the subtitles.

I'm pretty sure this is a bug with Walking Dead. Hint: I've worked at NVIDIA for 12 years and seen these types of bugs before.

PM me if you need a Mac SW engineering contact at NVIDIA if you think its a driver bug.
