TWD: Game choices gone

I just finished downloading episode 4 on my 360 and was very eager to play it, I loaded it up and clicked on my first save. I clicked on episode 4 and it said that the choices I made up to this point would be random. I kept going, I wasn't really sure what the hell it was saying (I know its obvious, but I wasn't really thinking things through at the time) and when I started up Episode 4, the recap of the other episodes showed Doug with me. I didn't save Doug, I saved Carley. So then I finally realized "Oh hey, my choices are gone!"

My save file still says Episode 3. But when I click on it, it goes straight to episode 1 and when I try to select other episodes, there are no "replay" options in sight. And then I click them and it says "your choices will be randomly made"

Fix this Telltale. This is my first time having any game breaking issues with The Walking Dead. I've dealt with the graphical issues and the occasionally kabuke-esque lip synching. But this is game breaking. Please do something. I really love the story and would hate to have to start all over again. It wouldn't be the same. And seeing from how many complaints have been made (none of them besides a few in the correct thread) and no moderator responses really puts me on edge. Please reassure us in some way.

    They aren't going to do anything about it. The game will be broken probably forever. Great job Telltale.

    Yeah, this isn't going to get fixed, and it's an "F" in their most important subject. "Choices Matter!" except we haven't figured out a way to carry them over, so "I guess they don't".

    It's an odd problem, since all you'd do is assign a value to whomever you saved, on the order of Carly=0 and Doug=1, then bring those values from one episode to the next. It shouldn't be complex, and it should be an easy patch, but for some reason they can't address it.

    No idea why.
