possible glitch in game?

playing case 1 on hard evidence and have been to talk to brass and he told me the car was on the way to the lab and that i had a warrant to interogate but didnt get either of them is this a glitch case only thing in my game that isnt tagged at this point is the skin fragment help please

    from what i gather... no, neather of those things you described is a glitch

    you will get a phone call when the cab is at the garage.... up untill then brass just says it will be there soon.... after the call, the csi garage will appear in your PDA locations tab, it sounds to me like you did not get that call

    as for Ed.... you get a warrant to interrogate him.... but you need to find him first
    process the red plastic flake you found at the crime scene at the csi lab... and you will get a lead on a location, talk to brass after you id what the flake is
