[TWD] Lost Saves... again! (Steam)

This is so frustrating... with each episode I have lost my save games and have had to start over. What is going on? I fired up The Walking Dead on Steam today for the first time since finishing episode 3. It said it needed to convert some files to make it more efficient, etc. When it was done, I fired up the game and the resolution was all jacked, all my settings had defaulted back to default.

Click on Play and it was starting a new game.

If I go to my Walking Dead folder, I can see all my save games there.

sigh... =/

    Same story for me x3.
    Happened when episode 2 came out,
    Happened when episode 3 came out,
    Happened when episode 4 came out,
    I'd be an idiot for not expecting it to happen when episode 5 comes out.

    This just happend to me the first time today with episode 4. Just got a new PC so just started from scratch yesterday and today when i finished episode 3 and clicked to start up the game crashed and when i started the game back up my savefile was gone. Now what do i do? Don't really feel like sitting playing 3 episodes all over again.

    Same here. All my saves are have been reverted back to only having Episode One completed. I have to say that the Telltale team that worked on this product really dropped the ball.

    I Havent had this before but episode 4 downloaded I was told it had to update the file format or something like that and now when i start the game my saves aren't recognised, they are still in my folder but not appearing in the game.

    Same here but it sucks for me even more since the game won't let me play Episode 2 anymore (blackscreen and an axe on the right) and Episode 4 says "Coming Soon" even though on the main menu it says "installed"
