[Problem] Why cant i download episode 2-4?

I bought Walking dead off the telltale store and when i try to download episodes 2,3 and 4 i get an error that says: "Connection Lost while downloading Data. Please ensure you have a working internet connection and re-attempt the download." I have a solid internet connection and ive also played the first episode. Does anyone know why this is?

Sorry, this is not the answer, but I have the same problem. Can´t download episode 4 with the same error message.

I'm having the same problem trying to download episode 4 for the PC.

Probably something wrong with the server that supplies the files. I'm getting the same thing as soon as I click the get button.

I have the exact same issue.

I have played (and downloaded) Episodes 1 and 2. Unable to "Get" episodes 2,3 or 4.

Now its says I need to "Get" episode 2 again..... I have been trying all weekend.

It is not an uncommon problem. I suspect it has to do with the volume of people trying to download it.
Instructions to manually download are here: http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36228
Or you can wait a few weeks for traffic to die down

There is a connectivity issue with Telltale servers at the moment. Don't know how long will it take to get fixed, in the meantime, use a proxy to manually download the files from the inofficial fix thread, it really works. Even my own ISP connection wasn't working to manually download so I used a proxy and it worked. I highly recommend backing up your save games before doing the downloads though. The word is this process can delete your saves. Didn't happen to me though, but you never know..

I've had the same problems....losing saves, two error messages: one that says I do not have licensing for the game (that has happened on the past two episodes at time of download and off and on when I try to download episode 4) and then the new error: internet connection lost that I get if I don't get the one I stated above. It has been 6 days and PC users still can not download this episode, the "in-official" fix does not work, I've contacted support/telltale through email, on facebook, & you can not get a response out of Telltale. There were no bugs or problems when they took our money for this game and all we want is to play the game that we paid for, if they can not give us the game we paid for then they should refund our money. I will NEVER buy another game from them EVER:mad:

Yeah they're terrible, I almost feel like demanding a refund or something like that >.>

I smell a class action lawsuit in the works...
@Telltale hows about a credit on a different game, assuming that we can actually play a dl and play a different game. That is what a real customer service-centered organization would do.

Thanks for the crickets chirping though...the sound makes me sleeeeepy

Hi guys, sorry this issue is delaying your enjoyment of the game. Telltale is aware and working to get it resolved as rapidly as possible. The official statement here will be updated as soon as there is a fix (it also has some things to try to increase your chances of a successful download).

As other people have mentioned here, some users have downloaded using an unofficial workaround, but please be aware that is not Telltale-tested.

The official patch for the disconnection issue is out now. Restarting the game will download and install it automatically. Afterwards you should be able to download the episodes.
