TWD/PC: Game ALWAYS forgets that I played through last episode

I don't know why this is happening, but with EVERY new episode I have to play through the last episode again. This is SO annoying and I surely don't wanna play Ep. 4 twice with the same decisions.

Is this a known bug? I didn't find anything searching your muddled forums.

    Hi Makrelo, sorry that you're getting a bit more gameplay than planned! I haven't had the same issue, but something that might help is letting the credits run to the end instead of exiting early. Give it a try with ep 4 and see if that works.

    Thanks for the quick response. I tried recreating old saves, but that also didn't work out for me. So I guess I'll have to play episode 3 from its beginning again. Too see characters I cared about die again. It'll be torturous.. (a little).

    Fixed: it was the bug, where you had to copy the prefs.prop from documents/telltale to the steam folder.

    I see that this bug is there since MONTHS. Why isn't that annoying bug fixed already? Can't be that hard..

    There should only be one prefs in your Documents\Telltale Games subdirectory that interacts with your save games in the same folder. If you have Walking Dead prefs anywhere else, then they are probably interfering with the proper prefs.
