Replay for Master rating? Not so much

Am I the only one that found Telltale's line about playing again and again to reach Master ranking on all the cases to be somewhat humorous, given that I completed all cases with Master ranking on my first try?

in another thread I actually name about 20 things to improve the game.. all of which seem to get shot down by the "average IQ" of the now everyday consume. I suppose you have to treat em all like they are 8th grade level. This is CSI people not freddi fish on a case to find the conch.

(Some things listed will not keep the game easy)

    1. Make it full free roam.. on hard you can step on and ruin evidence on easy it says be careful etc.
    2. The inventory system while finding clues should be much more involved and less tedious.. case and point.. (I dont need a flashlight shined on a book when I can see it in the dark.. just let me take it!)
I think items should have far more depth to them.. books should have pages . .etc..
    3. Add riddles or cyphers and make people do real puzzle work like some killers really do.
    4. Stop making the same plotlines for the cases.. yes most have differences but the ending is the same boring "OK I DID IT YA SEE AND IM GLAD GLADDDD"
5.the lab needs to feel more involved as well.. to me its just more mindless clicking.
    6. Nice idea with grissoms bug collection.. to bad it means squat.. would love to see some mini games sprout up somehow.. without ruining the depth csi is supposed to have.
    7. More involved morgue... most of this new #4 had almost nothing to look at or do while in the morgue.. doh.
    8. make many more cupboards... drawers... jam jars heck anything to look through. Having it so you look at only whats meaningful is not right.. I do sorta like the thorough points it sort of addresses this .
    9. Set different difficulty levels.. making it like dr brain sorta.. HARD you get tons more places like drawers that will open yet contain nothing.. This might seem pointless and like em and another said "waste of time and making the game boring" but honestly its not very fun or exciting as is .. so what could it hurt to test it :P

I REALLY feel they need to make this game full 3d with first person free roam and a X Y Z modifier. Anyway I have tons more this was just a spout of the top of my head

Just for the hell of it, see if you can get your hands ona copy of 3 Dimensions of Murder for the PS2. My understanding (I havent actually seen the final version game) is that is that they turned it into a full roaming 3-D experience, just like you have been requesting. You oughta try it out and see if it works as well as you expect. (I should do that too, but I havent been able to find a copy). If ya do track down a copy. let us know! :)

Woohoo, that's nine. Care to share another 91? Or were you just lying when you said you could think of 100? Because although you might think the term "exaggerating" might be relevant, it's not. When you're in the middle of bashing the design of a game, or indeed anything, you'd better say things that you mean when you say you could do better. There is no room for exaggerating here.

    Okay, let's relax a little here :(

Sorry. I just get really mad when people act like they could make better games in their sleep.

If they could, I'd like to see them doing so, please.

wow man... when I said I had 100 I didnt expect someone to come get a list. Its called exaggeration for a reason." I could eat 100 of these hamburgers" could you? prolly not but we say it. Means I can think of MANY ways..
Bottom line is the games are boring... and yes I do know of many ways to make it better and im guessing a lot of other people do to. Now please.. dont post to me again, as you obviously cannot take constructive criticism based toward a game you might like and I wish no harm to this forum.

Mark thanks.. Ill try to hunt it down though Ive never even heard of it for ps2 :P Ill see what I can doith...

Yeah, I believe the PS2 version of 3DOM came out about the same time as Hard Evidence and with even less publicity. We didn't do the port, so I know very little about it. I did see the game when it was very early in development and they were still experimenting with control schemes. I havent seen it yetin any stores, but I have a feeling this might be a product that will have more presence around Christmas.
