episode 4 wont load but it did at one point

I played all the way through to the end of episode 4

decided i didnt like my choices and played again until episode 3 ended. I tried to load 4 and all it does it play music and the screen stays black

4 was working before though

its on steam and it says all the file are in there correctly

    Seems like pref.prop file in My Document is invalid.
    Try backing up both pref.prop someplace safe and check which one is corrupt.
    One by one copy them to both locations. One of them must be valid.

    But backup them before doing anything.
