What about a CSI Game on Nintendo DS ?

edited October 2007 in CSI: Gaming Discussion
Hi, i'm belgian so excuse my english. :))
I'm a CSI fan, I love the series and I really lied the game. But that's not the point.

Recently, I discovered two games on Nintendo DS : Phoenix Wright and Trama Center. The first one is a lawyer simulation, and the second is a chirugy simulation.

In Phoenix Wright, you play a lawyer who investigates in crimes. In the last chapter, you can use aluminium powder to find digital prints. You put powder by touching the screen, ans you remove the excess by blowing in the micro. That's really cool.

Trauma center is a chirurgy game where the stylus become a scalpel. You must save the patient by operating him. It's an awesome concept perfectly adapted to the touch screen of the DS.

That's make me think avout a CSI game on the DS. The aluminium powder stuff is quite eloquent, and the chiruggy ca became... an autopsy !

There is alot of stuf that could be imaginated from this console. CSI on DS ? I think this would be great. Whats do you think about this ?

It's an interesting idea! The DS is a great platform for adventure games. Have you played Another Code (called Trace Memory in North America)? It has some innovative uses for the microphone and stylus, too.

I really hope Capcom makes another Phoenix Wright game... I'm playing the first one right now (on the fourth case) and it keeps surprising me with how much fun it is. I love the characters' facial expressions (especially Maya). :)

I'd like to check out those games. Sounds like they make good use of the technology...

    Thanks Silver!

Emily : I didn't play Another Code yet, but it's another great exemple of what you can make on DS.

Phoenix Wright is a DS-remake of the first "Gyakuten Saiban" game on GBA. Maybe Capcom will remake the others, or create a totally new game.

Greg : I hope this would give you some ideas... ;)

    Phoenix Wright 3 & 4 are coming ;)

Or, to be exact: Ace Attorney 3 & 4, since in the 4th game there will be a new main character.

No. 3 is another remake/port of a GBA game and will be out this year. 4 was just released in Japan and is an original DS development.
