TWD: What if I have Intel HD Graphics 4000? Will it not work well?

I have a brand new MBP 13" which meets all the requirements except that the game is not recommended for Intel integrated graphics. Will the game not work at all, or is there a way to go around that detail?
It just doesn't make any sense I can't play a game if the computer is last generation and mid-2009 MBPs can run the game without trouble

I have a brand new MBP 13 too. The game runs great on full graphics, but I have a debilitating mouse issue that seems to be pretty widespread.

For the record, I can also run L4D2 on my MBP. It's quite a bit more powerful than I expected.

I wouldn't recommend the game until the mouse issue is fixed. It seems to be affecting a lot of people; but you might be fortunate enough to not have the issue.
