There's a few things you can do to resolve this. First, make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the game. This is important. If you don't meet the minimum requirements, there may be little if anything we will be able to do to troubleshoot your issue. Also, please make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.

Try unplugging your gamepad and rebooting your system.

If you're using Steam, verify the integrity of the game cache. If you're not sure how to do this, the link below will walk you through it.

    https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

Try right-clicking the game's executable, which is WalkingDead101.exe, and then click Run As Adminstrator.

Also try right-clicking the game's executable, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab, and then check the options to run in compatibility mode for Windows 98/ME. Also check the option to disable desktop composition.

If it's still not working, please uninstall and reinstall the game. When you uninstall the game, you will be prompted to keep your save files. If you don't want to lose your progress, definitely choose to keep your files. Once you reinstall the game and reach the Title Screen, a few updates will install. This could take a few moments, so insure you have a strong internet connection. When done, you should be taken to the Main Menu.

To uninstall the game on Steam, right click on the game in your Steam library and choose to delete local content. Your save files should not be harmed during this process. When you reinstall the game all updates should install with it. This process could take some time, so insure you have a strong internet connection. When done, you should be able to launch the game as normal.
