Walking Dead solution that actually works
Hi folks,
Just want to follow up after posting many frustrated messages. This is for anyone whose iPad is not showing "Coming Soon."
In his earlier posts, MattP suggested that we need to reboot, toggle wifi, and/or connect to a faster network. The speed of the network is not the issue. The solution, as Matt notes in his most recent posting, is this:
Try connecting your iPad to a different network. Any network.
It has nothing to do with the speed of the network; rather, the problem is caused by settings on your router. Not sure if it's connected to ports on the router, or if it has something to do with the way the router resolves Internet addresses. Rather than trying to troubleshoot it, you can just bring your iPad to another location (e.g. Starbucks) and connect to their network.
Can't promise it will work for you, but it definitely worked for me.
