Selecting exit game restarts game. wtf?

When selecting exit at pause menu, game restarts with introduction. when pressing control alt delete to bring up task manager, game intro pops up on top of task manager, preventing its use. Is there a fix to this or is this just another totally buggy pos? If no fix I will be contacting my credit card issuer for a purchase refund for 'failure to provide advertised service' as game is now unplayable (i am not going to restart my pc just to exit this game).

We are currently looking into this issue and apologize for any frustration it's caused. To avoid this happening again, make sure you pause and resume your game for the first few scenes of each episode being played, and make a back-up copy of your save games, just in case.
