Walking Dead Episode 1 startup problem

I bought the game Walking Dead Episode 1 but have never been able to get it to start up. I click continue and the screen blinks in a funny way. I have a less than a year old tricked out alienware. Please help. I am in US military in Korea.

    If you have a controller plugged into your computer, please remove it before trying to launch the game again. Also, please remove the Walking Dead folder you find in your Documents\Telltale Games directory. This is the directory your saves are kept, so if this works, don't remove it again or you will lose your progress.
