Second, I sent my Serial Number and Full name along with the request code... shouldn't those two pieces of information be enough to confirm that I bought the software? How many other people with my name have my serial number???

It is possible/likely that TellTale uses that 'request code' to generate a machine specific unlock code for you. It's not that they don't WANT to send you an unlock-code (or don't belief you) but they need a valid/working request code to base the unlock code on. Well, that's how most offline codes work anyway.

Try contacting either the person from Telltale who send you the code and/or general TellTale support. They're pretty good at responding quickly.

So far, no response... do they take Saturdays off?

We don't think you're a liar! The fact that Will wasn't able to use the request code you sent has nothing to do with our belief that you legally bought the game (which we know you did).
First of all, I tripple checked my request code before sending it, so it's highly unlikely that I sent the wrong code. Second, I sent my Serial Number and Full name along with the request code... shouldn't those two pieces of information be enough to confirm that I bought the software? Yes, they're enough to verify that you bought it, but the request code is what's needed for us to generate the unlock code, and as fpostma said, it's machine specific. If Will tried to use the request code you sent him and it didn't work, there would be no way for him to generate an unlock code that would work on your computer. Sorry. :(

We do not take Saturdays off from answering support requests (although sometimes I wish we could ;)), but unfortunately we can only generate the unlock codes from inside the firewall at the office. Usually on the weekends people answer support emails from home. I think someone is going to make a trip in this weekend to generate codes for people but I don't know exactly when this weekend it will be.

Is it possible for you to connect the laptop to the internet for just a few minutes? Once the game has been activated it doesn't need an internet connection anymore, so if you could connect just long enough to submit your serial number, you'd be all set. Otherwise, we will get you the unlock code as soon as we can, but I'm sorry it wasn't soon enough for you to play the game today. :(

I've just sent you a code based on the new key you sent in, so everything should be resolved now.
