Stuck at title screen help please

I reinstalled walking dead and it asks for my login, so I type it in and click ok...then nothing happens.. It's just the screen that says "The Walking Dead" with the latest info scrolling at the top. I can move the pointer but there is nothing to click. Help please

I have the exact same problem, but I did not reinstall, I am simply trying to get onto the game to download episode 5. Please help, Telltale.

This can occur if you enter your login details incorrectly. Please make sure you use your registered email address and password. If you typed your login details incorrectly, but are playing in full screen, the login prompt may be hidden now by the game. Using Alt-Tab or minimizing the game should show the login window or the error message encountered.

For me it has nothing to do with login details though, so how do I solve this? I just loaded up the game today and once I press "click to continue" it says "connecting" for a few seconds, has the announcements scroll, and never moves on to the main screen with the house.

More info on my game: A few weeks ago I loaded it up to play a new save, and when I got done with episode 4 it scrolled over to episode 5. Much to my confusion, instead of "coming soon" it said "Get" so I clicked on it. The episode "installed" in seconds, and then I was able to "play" but of course, since it didn't actually exist yet, it only took me to a black screen. I figured this would be resolved when the real episode 5 came out. Just figured I would explain that in case it is apart of the problem here. I also notice that in my files under "meta" it has both walkingdead105.json AND walkingdead105.updated.json, and the first one was made on the day when I "downloaded" the fake episode 5.

That is most likely the problem. Please remove the SyncFS folder (don't delete anything else) and then restart your game. This will remove your Episode 2, 3, and 4 game content as well, but should ensure you get the proper patch files and Episode 5 game content that is most likely preventing you from accessing the game.

Miraculously, when I just started the game again it worked perfectly, and although my episode 5 still said "play" even though I didn't actually download it, when I clicked it took me straight to the episode. Not sure what changed, but thanks for making it smooth, Telltale! (:
