Second, you need to post this in the right section. I'll move it for you.
Third, you need to be more specific. What version of the game do you have? The Steam version? Or the one from Telltale? Because if it's the second, you actually have to download the fifth episode and install it.
I am experiencing a similar issue on my OS X/Telltale version. You say that the with the Telltale version we must download Episode 5? Is this a different mechanism from how Episodes 2-4 were installed? The in-game download screen I typically use shows all of the episodes other than 5 are "Installed." Episode 5 is displaying "Coming Soon" with no option to download it. Any thoughts?
You also mention needing to wait more then two minutes -- I know today was release day, but if it was just released 2 hours ago and there is an initial glitch in getting everything working, that's fine, too.
I purchased the season pass directly from Telltale games and am unable to download Episode 5 on PC either. It just says "coming soon". Any ideas on this? Do you need any other info?
PC Version, non-steam. Backing up and removing the prefs and save files only prompts the game to tell me I don't have the necessary license to play the game and sends me to the Telltale site.

Well, little use. Uninstalling and starting over from the link provided in Telltale's "Your Games" tab still prompts the "You have not purchased a license for this game" dialogue box - sending me straight back to the download page.
Disappointing, but I'm just going to wait for them to sort this out.
Maybe they can transfer the license to the 360 version for me, lol.

Ah bummer
The uninstall/reinstall didn't work for me either. Good luck!
Good luck getting any help/reply from Telltale. Last time there was a problem like this people raged for days without any reply at all, even though the forum was crowded with threads about the problem.
Due to the game launching on all platforms today, we are experiencing a much higher than normal number of server requests. This can cause some requests to time out, which will not update the availability status for the episode. Please turn off your computer (to reset the cache) and then restart, and launch the game. When you select Continue from the title screen, you should see the text 'Refreshing Episodes States'.
Well, I moved everything from the Telltales folder to my desktop, launched the game, and am now downloading all of the episodes again (including 5). I plan to copy the save files back and hope that I can play episode 5 with my previous information saved. Try this at your own risk.
** EDIT ** After downloading all of the episodes, I copied the old Telltale Folder to the new one in "My Documents". It let me continue my game and it looks like it saved my choices! Definitely not an easy fix, but at least it worked. I'd still say do this at your own risk. There is always the possibility it might not work for you. If you don't want to risk it, I'd wait for Telltale games to say if they are going to fix it.
Had this problem- it sort of fixed itself, but now it has Ep 5 and Ep 2 as Purchased. I've been using the workaround for downloads, and all the episode files are in their correct folders- when I try to finish the installation, it stalls out at "Downloading 0%"

Uh.
Okay, so I look and read and search through this forum finally coming upon Matt's post here, containing the line
" When you select Continue from the title screen, you should see the text 'Refreshing Episodes States'. "
Now, there is no "Continue" that I see on the title screen, but there is a "Play" button.
What I've been doing so far has been to select the "Download Content" button, which consistently gives me the Episode Listing screen showing Ep 5 as "Coming Soon".
What I tried this time was to hit "Play", select my current game from the panel listing all the TWD games you've started, then hit "Play" again...as if the content had already BEEN downloaded.
All the episodes scroll by horizontally and...Bingo - there was Ep. 5, with a "GET" button.
Clicking on THAT brings you BACK to the Episode List screen, where Episode 5 is NOW shown with a "GET" button. Sheesh!
TellTale, shame on yaz fer bein' so frickin' obtuse.
Had same problem. I have given up on TellTales support, they never answer. I uninstalled the game, bought it a second time from Steam. No problems anymore.

I had to do the same, clear out my "Documents/TellTale games" folder (just moved contents) and then restarted the computer. Episode 5 now available and downloading.
Mine is still doing this as well. PC, bought directly from TTG, Win 7 64-bit. Tried the Play>Play>Get but the Get button isn't there -- it says Coming Soon! Same with the Download Content button -- shows as coming soon. Moved my Walking Dead folder from My Docs>Telltale Games, rebooted PC, moved the folder back... and still says coming soon.

Going to try re-installing the whole thing.

Still "Coming Soon."

You confuse "disappeared" with "unstickied". But thanks for your efforts here, I posted the idea in a German forum as well. Let's see if it can help more than one member...

I had trouble on both laptop and desktop...
