I just installed episode 5 and all my data is gone. I checked my HD and I still have a saved game but it won't appear on my game. I'm pissed. Please Help.

    I'm on the same boat, i've tried everything. This is beyond ridiculous.....Consider yourself lucky if your save file did not F**K up and anyone who has not downloaded episode 5 yet, DON'T-until there is a patch.. Probably about 12-15hours down the drain since May.

    Me too !!! I can see the save on the xbox parameters, but nothing in the game.

    please don't tell me I have to restart from the beginning !

    Same thing is going on here with me.

    I loaded up the game, clicked to start Episode 5, heard the voice say Previously on The Walking Dead but I noticed that the resolution had changed so I quit the game and went back to the menu to change the resolution back to normal. Click again to open saves and what do you know, all gone.

    Have Telltale ever addressed this situation? I put a lot of time and money in to this game.

    This has been a problem since episode 2.

    They still haven't fixed it.

    Telltale is too busy patting themselves on the back to even think of any problems apparently.

    Yes, this happened to my dad's game saves when he started Episode 3. Hell, I'd have taken restarting the game from Episode 3 rather than from Episode 5.

    I should have visited the forus before buying this crap. Apart from the buggy releases everything was still playable. I now purchased episode 5 for the Xbox360 and started it. Surprise surprise,... Episode 1 starts and my saved game is gone. I've been able to deal with all the other little bugs and glitches, but this crap is a bigger horror than the story itself.

    Do these morons even test their games before they release them? Seriously. And sure,.. everyone should save their games before playing a new Episode, because all those developers write games that delete your progress when you start playing the game again,... oh wait... that only happened with TTG. Not gonnaplay the whole damn game again and then hoping it won't mess up somehow. Wish there was a money-back option to protect people from con-artists like TTG.

    Same for me.
    I still have all the achievements, yet my save game has vanished.
    Been getting no help from telltale, so I'm just going to try to play ep5 without a save game, and will be very cautious in the future about buying anything with the telltale name on it.
