TWD EP3 Doesn't recognize previous decisions

Bought TWD on steam sale yesterday to play today.
I completed EP 1 and 2 and when I went to EP 3, I was graced by this beautiful message.
Generate story decisions for skipped episodes.

Really? Lazy developers I suppose.

There is no reason why I should spend my day(Thanksgiving as well) looking for a quick fix, just to play a game you created. Right now I've spent more time trying to fix this, than actually playing.

First TellTale game I purchased... and it will be the last.

And I've bought 3 copies, what a shame.

    I'm having the exact same problem. Tried all the fixes, played through episode 2 again and tried to continue to episode 3 without exiting the game. Same deal.

    Worst of all, whilst trawling forums trying to find out how to fix this, I've had episodes 3 and 5 both spoiled!

    Edit: Finally found, at the bottom of one of the stickies, that you can just answer 'Yes' to the generate question, and it will import your choices regardless!
