Freezing at the inn scene

Hi there,

I also have been experiencing the garbled text bug... but I have been experiencing a new issue that makes the game unplayable.

At the inn scene, when he yells "Get down" and there is a zombie, the game freezes and becomes unresponsive. I have tried in full mode, window mode, put all the settings down to minimum... at least 20 time, and it still freezes. I cannot progress past this part.

Here are my specs:

15-inch, Mid 2010
Processor 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB

    Hey, i'm having exactly the same problem here. The games jus crashes every time no matter what settings i try it on. It's a shame having just crashes on episode 1...
