Save Solution that worked for me.
Like many of you my Saved Games weren't registering in The Walking Dead.
What worked for me was a mixture of different techniques together.
(Backup Before Replacing)
I downloaded this guy's prefs.prop and replaced mine with his.
I then followed Sizemore's Save Fix
And that's it; I was able to enjoy episode 5 after this.
For people with Windows 8 and a Xbox Controller (Just turn it off. There is a .dll to get it to launch while on, but the controller only worked in-game twice out of countless tries)
Hopefully this method will work for you guys also and remember back everything up before you tweak things

Telltale just needs to fix this crap already there's hundreds of reports between here and other boards and this isn't even a PC exclusive issue either it's happening on consoles too.
Really disappointed. I'm not replaying everything so either Telltale needs to just resolve the issue or I'll just not play the last episode then stop playing their games all together.
At the end of the game it shows all the choices you've made and everything there was in order to what I picked.
I've tried Sizemore's Fix alone before and It wouldn't work till I downloaded this guy's prefs.prop. The difference in size was substantially larger than mine (3KB to 26KB)
Judging from the sound of it, I think this guy and I happen to make the same choices. If so then you're solution would be to find someone who made the same as yours
We should start a Thread with People's Prefs.prop so other can download them.
