ATTN: Telltale Mods - Will game saves from dl'd episodes work with disc version???

Hi All,

I was just wondering if the saves I have from the downloaded episodes of the Walking Dead will work with the disc version set to release on Xbox in a few weeks. I'm talking specifically about the Xbox 360 version.

I was wondering because I would also like to have a physical copy of the series and was hoping my saves would work, so I wouldn't necessarily have to start all over again.

    I'm not an employee of Telltale, so I don't know for sure (moderators are just volunteers, the only people who are Telltale employees can be identified by the fact that their forum names are in red), so just take this as an educated guess rather than a definitive answer.

    I guess it would depend on whether they go for the route of separate game with separate achievements or just put the five episodes on disc. As most games go for the latter, it does seem quite likely that you'll be able to use the XBLA saves with the retail version.

    Thanks, Jennifer. I wasn't sure exactly who to direct the quest to, but it's basically to whomever at Telltale would be able to answer, be it a moderator or actual Telltale employee.

    I do hope you're correct about the saves. If so, then it will likely be a day 1 purchase for me. Hopefully, someone can come in and clarify 100% before the disc version releases. Thanks again!!
