TWD: Help, I downloaded EP. 5 and now cant launch

I have played the game on windows 8 multiple times. I finally downloaded the new episode tonight and after it will not launch at all. I do not get this. ( i would have downloaded it sooner but too many games came out over the past week).

I am aware that taletell doesnt currently support windows 8 but i haventhad an issue until the new download. Any help?

    oh i ran it once by running it as administrator... it came up in a little window that got slightly bigger at the load. But have been unable since. I have restarted and troubleshot my comp to. Bewildered right now.

    And now i got it to run again in windowed mode .... and it deleted all my game saves. I dont care if there is a game save fix or not. im down with this crap. not getting season 2. it shouldnt have happened.. and im not digging through my files just because telltale fucked up. fuck this company im out. peace.
