The Walking Dead textures fixed to low settings

For some reason the texture quality doesn't work, no matter which settings I choose, the texture size is low. There's no change between the high and low texture setting.

This is what it looks like on the highest settings. I have an ati gpu, but nothing is forced in the gpu software. (click the images for larger versions)

    Do you have the TTG Store- or Steam Version?
    Can you please make a screenshot that shows all graphics settings when it looked like that?

    Also, please post your dxdiag info.

    Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
    Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.
    Windows 8: At the start screen, type in "dxdiag" and hit enter

    Now click on the button that says "save all information".
    It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

    Open the file and press Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C to copy the contents, and paste them in a reply by pressing CTRL-V.
    Sometimes the Forums spam filter catches long posts like this. Don't worry, we can still see them and make them visible.

    I am not sure what could cause that, so i can just give you some generic troubleshooting tips.
    Please try
    - verifying your game cache files
    - Running the DirectX updater

    Did both and nothing changed.

    Graphics usually don't matter to me, but in this case it does. The problem isn't the fact that the graphics are bad, but rather the fact that the textures are meant to look good, but then downscaled, making them look horrendous. It's rather the poor graphical version of this artstyle that is the problem. New games look good on the best graphical setting, no matter when it was made, UT2K4 and many other old games still looks great, however turning the graphics down is what makes the games ugly, not the graphical boundaries.

    I agree. I really want to see these games with higher-res textures.
