The walking dead epis 1

I installed the game ''the walking dead'' by steam, and the first episode is not working, others is normal. I open the file folder of game and says the episode 1 is missing, just as if this episode was not installed. What do I fix this?

    Since all Episodes require Episode 1 to be run, can you please clarify how Episode 1 doesn't work? When you launch the game to the main menu, you can select any episode to play. Do you receive an error message when starting episode 1?

    The game opens normal, but when I go start the episode 1, seconds after the game closes and appears a message seeking solutions online. When i open the game again and beginning from the second episode picks up normal. I checked the cache of game and is normal. In short the episode 1 is not installed. I have uninstalled and installed several times. What do i do?

    Please try verifying your game cache files.

    If that doesn't fix it, please post your dxdiag info.

    Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
    Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.
    Windows 8: At the start screen, type in "dxdiag" and hit enter

    Now click on the button that says "save all information".
    It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

    Open the file and press Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C to copy the contents, and paste them in a reply by pressing CTRL-V.

    Your notebooks graphics chip doesn't meet the games minimum requirements. That's probably what makes the game crash.

    But why the game opens the episode 3 normal and the episode 1 gives error?

    I am surprised that it partially works too. There might be additional issues, but the integrated Intel graphics chip alone makes the game unlikely to work properly.

    You can try if deleting the savegame folder helps:
    %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead


    If you are interested in tinkering you can try if installing the latest Intel graphics driver improves the situation.

    You can also try installing the latest Realtek HDA driver.

    I don't expect it to help, but it's at least a chance.

    I did what you asked and the problem still continues, but the funny thing is that I can play episodes others. Then the problem is not the content that steam sent me, but my note? if I try to install on another computer can resolved that?

    I would definitely give it another try, on a computer that meets the minimum requirements.
