Episode 3 Bugged. Cant touch panel 5 on train

good evening all. Hopefully someone can help me out with some sort of fix for this... After getting the start up directions off the notepad, i turn to the instrument panel to flip the switches and i can flip panel 6 fine... but my game doesnt even register panel 5 as interactive obviously causing much frustration.

I have rewound to an earlier chapter... and reinstalled (I have steam copy)
both to no avail.

anyone else having a problem with this? anybody got a fix?

    You should have a cutscene once you complete the first one (6) [i'm guessing]. If you didn't get the cutscene redo panel 6. once the cutscene is finished. panel 5 will be available.

    thank you so very much for your help, i finally realized i read the switches backwards.... and got the cutscene and subsequently the 5 panel :))
