If the game crashes consistently when you try to cut the teacher's leg, you can try rewinding to the first checkpoint and replaying to this scene. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please make sure your system specs meet the minimum requirements posted on our site. If you are not sure how to check this, instructions are below.
To do this, select the Apple logo on the top toolbar of your desktop, then select 'About this Mac', and then 'More info...'. Now Select 'File' on the top toolbar of your desktop, then find 'Save As'. Choose a filename to easily find the document after saving, and most importantly change the file format to an easy to read document type (RTF is recommended). After you save the file, you can attach it to a reply to this thread.
If the game has only crashed once, please try loading your save and playing through this scene again.

I've tried many times to rewind the checkpoint and i've all the right mac requirements...always crash...what can I do?
You can try moving your ave folder to another location, and then starting the game again and playing Episode 2 from the start. If you are able to get past this scene, then the issue lies within your prefs. This means you'd need to delete this file (and your saves). However, if this does not correct the issue, then it's more than likely system related. Please send me a copy of your specification so I can eliminate this as a possibility.
Did you download Episode 2 again after moving your save folder or did you use the same files?
Since you manually downloaded them, there is a chance that the Episode 2 files were corrupted during download and therefore cause the game to crash.
You can either just try deleting the Episode 2 files and downloading them again, or you can post the checksums of the files you downloaded so we can make sure they are okay.
In order to get the checksums open a Terminal and run these two lines:
cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Telltale\ Games/TheWalkingDead/SyncFs/Data/WalkingDead102
md5 *
Then post the output.
P.S. It will take a while to finish, so please give it time until you see the input prompt again.
I've been trying to get this all fixed for my Mac for a long time now and I just gave up on it, they won't fix the game. My download always stops at 99% everytime I try to do it and I did everything that they told me and it never worked. It's just a loss of money.

Nope.
Nope, because I'm tired to be angry and mad for a game...I want to fight zombies, not all those errors...and isn't just me, coz the 99% of threads in this section are about TWD!
You have ruined my game experience, I belived a lot in this game but it's a big crap...I'll never buy a TT game anymore.
I know you do not care much to lose a customer, you have many, of course.
But I wanted to let you know and invite users who are experiencing problems after problems to do my same choice.
I've loved MI, Sam&Max, Back to the future, Wallace& Groomit and jurassic park, but that's enough for me.
I am just trying to help. Also keep in mind that i am not a TTG employee.
The reasoning behind the md5 test is, that if the files were corrupted during download once, which is implied by redownloading them fixing the freeze at one point, it could have happened all along.
That means, that the files you downloaded the second time could also be corrupted, but at different positions, fixing the initial crash, but causing one at another place.
The game checks the files consistency if you download them ingame, but using the manual download that probably is bypassed.
I had a similar case a few years ago, and it turned out to be a defective modem.

Sorry mate, I was a little angry, tnx for your help
I have finished the second episode now, freezing several times, and also in episode 3 I have the same problem: sometimes the game decides to crash, so i have to redownload the files of the episode at every crash and everything works...it seems that the files became corrupt at every crash...
I am not sure yet, but that would mean, that it should also work without redownloading after some tries.
I do not know what to say mate ... I temporarily resolved the situation, taking a backup of the files and copying them when needed ... but playing is so frustrating
I took a brief look at Mac OS X recently, and have some new ideas now.
Where does the game freeze currently?
It could also help if you post your system information.

Actually, episode 3 is freezed again, so I'm downloading it again
PS: sorry 4 my bad english
The files above are okay.
If it crashed again, there must be something else going on.
But if the files are ok, why redownloading it the game works again? O_o

Do you get any error messages or crash reports when the game crashes?
Where does the game freeze currently?
