Launch fails from steam & from .exe when run as admin. Have reinstalled poker Night & DirectX; dxdiag crash as follows:

    Unfortunately we do not support Windows 8 at this time. You can try unplugging your gamepad, if you have one connected, or run the game in compatibility mode.

    Thanks.

    To follow up: no game pad was attached and compatability modes have failed (reported to microsoft). Looking forward to a windows 8 update
